April 1 membership rate increase

Folk Music Ontario membership fees will be increasing by 10% effective April 1, 2014. FMO/OCFF has not increased membership fees for the last five years. An increase is necessary to provide all members with their benefits, as well as a high-quality conference and year-round programming. Year-round programming starts this year with a Festival Members Retreat taking place at the end of May.

Breakdown of fees increase:

Youth (under 18, non-voting) $25.00 plus HST $27.50 plus HST
Partners (living at same address) $75.00 plus HST $82.50 plus HST
Family (2 adults, unlimited youth) $95.00 plus HST $104.50 plus HST
ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPS
Small (up to $50,000 in revenue) $100.00 plus HST $110.00 plus HST
Medium ($50,000 – $250,000 in revenue) $125.00 plus HST $137.50 plus HST
Large (over $250,000 in revenue) $175.00 plus HST $192.50 plus HST
FESTIVAL MEMBERSHIP $352.00 plus HST $387.20 plus HST

Current members can avoid this increase by renewing their memberships by March 31, 2014. Any memberships purchased or renewed from April 1 onward will be subject to the 10% increase.

There is a special discount in effect for Lifetime memberships purchased until April 11, 2014. After that date, the regular lifetime membership rate of $600.00 plus HST will also increase by 10%:
