Zack Elliott is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter based in Bolton, Ontario. Greatly influenced by the works of Gregory Alan Isakov and The Tallest Man on Earth, Zack creates music that combines eclectic instrumentals inspired by the natural world and evocative, poetic writing in the vein of Leonard Cohen, City and Colour and Iron & Wine.
After many years of pursuing music as a hobby, Zack began recording music during the first COVID-19 lockdown. While finishing his biology degree in Buffalo, NY, he wrote, recorded, produced, and independently released his debut EP "Caught Half Alive" in March 2021, which has been streamed over 5000 times across all platforms. His tracks 'Honeysuckle' and 'Oxeye' continue to gain popularity. Zack's striking imagery and the soothing, dream-like atmosphere of his work evoke nostalgia and inspiration.
Zack has started publicly performing and continues to write and record music. His following has grown as he has become more engaged with his 6000+ social media followers and is preparing to release another project in 2022. He is also furthering his artistic development with the Canadian Musicians Co-operative, with whom he regularly performs, including appearing in a showcase-style tour throughout the month of August 2021. Zack plays gigs at restaurants and bars in Toronto and the GTA. Zack also writes, records, and produces music for clients worldwide through Fiverr.
