Sandra Bouza
Sandra Bouza is soul/blues/folk artist from Toronto, Ontario who has lived, studied or worked all over the world. She is a passionate vocalist and prolific songwriter who lets her stories breathe in songs that are deeply personal.
Returning to Toronto in 2018 after three years singing in hotel lounges and nightclubs in North and West Africa, Bouza decided to commit to her own music, and broke through with her EP ‘Three Years’. Shortly after, she became the 2019 winner of the Toronto Blues Society Talent search, placed second in the 2019 Toronto Soul Slam, and represented Toronto at the 2020 International Blues Challenge In Memphis. In February of 2020, she released her first full album ‘Falling Away From Me’, right before the world was shut down by Covid-19.
Far from letting that stop her, Bouza continued to work on new material throughout the pandemic, and is due to release her next LP; 'A Sound in the Dark', in the spring of 2023.
