Derek Andrews
Lifetime OCFF/FMO member, former OCFF board member, organizational member and OCFF sponsor works as a consultant manager for the Global Cafe roster of international and national artists spanning the folk, blues, jazz and world music areas. Past Music Programmer at Harbourfront Centre, curator at the Luminato Festival and artistic director of the Mundial Montreal conference. Derek is president of the Toronto Blues Society and is Executive Producer of the Maple Blues Awards and biennial Blues Summit conference. He has served on the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council and for many years has been a member of the European Forum of Worldwide Music Festivals.
