Michel DeQuevedo is a Mexican/Canadian percussionist, drummer and singer-songwriter.
Michel has played and/or recorded with multi-Grammy Award winners Julieta Venegas, Molotov and Natalia Lafourcade, and with Juno Award Winners Walk off the Earth, Richard Underhill and Quique Escamilla, as well as La Lupita, Leroy Emmanuel, The LMT Connection, The Eric St-Laurent Trio, and more, playing in some of Canada and the U.S. best venues such as Massey Hall, Roy Thompson Hall, The Opera House, The Rex Hotel, Lula Lounge, The Reservoir Lounge, The House of Blues, Blue Note, JC Fandango, Whisky A-Go-Go, Hollywood Palladium, etc.
He has performed for Universities and Corporations like Ryerson, McMaster, U of Toronto, U of Waterloo, Mohawk College, Walmart, LCBO, National Bank, RBC, HomeLife Realty, GoEasy, Entertainment One Canada, etc. and for the 2015 Toronto PanAm Gamesí torch relay events and the Athletesí Welcoming Ceremony for both PanAm and ParaPanAm games.
