Kimberly Sinclair

Kimberly Sinclair has amassed an impressive track record promoting Canadian artists. Drawing on her background in NYC’s fashion industry, along with a singular ability to bring people together, Kimberly has built SpinCount into an award-winning promotions and publicity firm.

SpinCount is currently nominated for 2015 ECMA Company of the Year and under Kimberly's leadership, SpinCount was awarded Music Nova Scotia Company of the Year in 2014 and 2012 and Independent Company of the Year by the East Coast Music Association in 2011. Kimberly was awarded Music Nova Scotia Industry Professional of the Year in 2012 and in 2011 by the East Coast Music Association. She has served on many industry panels including ECMW, Halifax Pop Explosion, Folk Alliance International (Kansas City) Music Nova Scotia, Music PEI Music New Brunswick and more.

Kimberly has created successful campaigns for JUNO winners, Catherine MacLellan, Rose Cousins and Amelia Curran, and Polaris nominee Joel Plaskett. SpinCount specializes in exporting Canadian Independent Artists and Music and provide customized campaigns that have resulted in national radio charting, including Top-10 singles and albums, showcases, awards & JUNO, Regional and National nominations and awards for our clients.

Sponsorships include Canadian Music Week, The New Glasgow Riverfront Jubilee, The Gordie Sampson SongCamp, Folk Music Canada, Music PEI and the Halifax Pop Explosion. Kimberly has coordinated multiple showcases for artists in Toronto, Halifax, Charlottetown Moncton and Kansas City, USA.

Kimberly juries for many Canadian Music & Industry Associations and is a member of the Music Nova Scotia Board of Directors. Kimberly was also elected by the Board to the executive position of Secretary for 2013-2015 and was appointed at the MNS representative to the East Coast Music Association Board of Directors (Sept 2014) Kimberly resides on the South Shore of Nova Scotia with her partner, Kevin and two sons, Connor & Keifer.
