Chris White loves connecting people with music and with one another. He co-founded the Ottawa Folk Festival in 1993 and guided its evolution for 16 years as Artistic Director. He has released three albums of original songs, including "Music All Around", a collection of children's songs produced by Ken Whiteley (2018). Chris hosts "Canadian Spaces", Canada's longest-running folk radio show, on CKCU FM 93.1 Ottawa and www.ckcufm.com. He leads five weekly singing groups for people of all ages and abilities, including a group for home-schooled children and a group for couples dealing with dementia. He received the 2012 Helen Verger Award for his "significant, sustained contributions to folk music in Canada".
