Art Menius, who has enjoyed a distinguished, 37-year career in North American roots music, operates a recording promotion service (Art Menius Radio), manages Si Kahn, Anne E DeChant, and TIffany Williams, coordinates crowdfunding campaigns for musicians, writes, and hosts two radio shows. He has been music festival and concert presenter and arts non-profit executive. From 1985 through 1990, he served as first Executive Director of IBMA. After a year as Folk Alliance's initial President, he worked as its Manager from 1991 through 1996. Menius worked full time for MerleFest from 1997 through 2007. He then served as Executive Director of the famed Appalshop in Whitesburg, KY and The ArtsCenter in Carrboro, NC. He started Art Menius Radio in 2014 and placed three albums in the top 6 of the January 2020 Folk Alliance International Folk Chart.
